How did we get here? Like myself, 914Seis is born out of Southern California car culture, with a passion bred out of the automotive lifestyle; Car Clubs. Get-togethers and Drives. Big-modifications. Parking-lot meet-ups.
Just as well, being part Mexican I’ve always found the Porsche connection with Spanish and, specifically Mexican culture, so interesting. From the Carrera name, created out of the company success in motorsport and racing – to the winning record of Pedro and Ricardo, the Brothers, ‘Hermanos Rodriguez’.
The legacy continues today when we look at the Porsche-Panamera, a salute to the border-to-border grand touring race through Mexico, the Carrera Panamericana. Thus the name 914Seis. Another chapter in the love-affair between a German car-company and Mexico, influenced by Southern California car-culture.
The story continues,
